Story
This July, my family and I faced the most devastating loss of our lives. My mother passed away after a heartbreaking and incredibly short battle with cancer. She was diagnosed in May, and just two months later, she was gone. Nothing could have prepared us for how quickly everything changed.
Losing her has completely reshaped my world. It has changed my family’s life in ways we’re still trying to understand. She was the heart of our home, the person we all turned to, and living without her feels impossible some days. The grief is heavy, but so is the love we still carry for her.
I’m fundraising in her memory—to honour her, to keep her light with us, and to help support others facing the unimaginable. No family should have to go through what we did, and if we can ease someone else’s suffering or support vital research, then her legacy will continue in a meaningful way.
Any donation, no matter the size, means the world. Thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping us keep her memory alive.
Together, we will beat cancer.
