Myself, John, Mel and Tony are heading to Italy in June to run a 72k (50 miles) race in the dolomite mountains. We are doing this in memory of my son and my Nan, Morgan Ridler and Big Nanny Liz raising money for our charity Morgan’s Army. We started the charity started in Feb 2023 to honour Morgan’s cancer journey, something my Nan was incredibly proud of. We lost my Nan on June 8th of June and we lost Morgan on June 28th. They are looking after each other now and we will be climbing to heights of approx 2450m during the race, so we will be closer to them than ever!

A little about Morgan’s Army…

We are a charity dedicated to ensuring families of children diagnosed with cancer in South Wales never fight alone.

We facilitate peer support events for families to interact with those who understand their journeys, we offer financial hardship and equipment grants, and Sibling trips. We issue funds/grants to projects run by children’s charities in Wales who services benefit our families.
