Story

The 6.8 magnitude quake struck at 11.11pm last night (8 September), killing at least 820 people – a grim death toll that is likely to rise in the days ahead.

Blocked roads are preventing ambulances from reaching the wounded, and while officials are scrambling to clear debris, rescue and relief efforts are difficult amid the mountainous terrain, risk of landslides, and large distances.

In collaboration with our partners on the ground, Islamic Relief is working tirelessly to reach those affected by this disaster. We are delivering crucial relief, including food, clean water, and essential medical supplies to save lives.

Your contribution of £80 can make a life-saving difference to those in dire need. With your support, we can offer hope and relief to earthquake victims during this dark hour.

Please donate generously and help us provide immediate assistance to those affected by this devastating earthquake.

£80 can provide a cash grants for one household to purchase essentials for one month

£168 can provide two families with shelter in an emergency
