Morpeth Schools's fundraiser for Comic Relief

Morpeth Schools Comic Relief is raising money for Comic Relief

Morpeth Rockstars for Comic Relief · 12 March 2026

This Red Nose Day it's time to Take Yourself Funny for Money on Friday 20 March. Whatever you do to get a laugh, the money you raise will do serious good for serious reasons, across the UK and around the world.

Story

Following the success of last year’s Morpeth Schools Comic Relief event, we are bringing all the schools in Morpeth together again for a fun-filled morning on Thursday 12th March 2026. This year’s theme will be “Rockstars for Comic Relief” with pupils and staff dressing up as rockstars that reflect their own personalities and styles.

The highlight will be a large-scale, collaborative dance performance to a specially created mash-up of two iconic Comic Relief songs: “Word Up” and “Walk This Way.”

Comic Relief supports incredible projects and organisations that are making a difference for people across the UK and around the world.

Any donation you can make will make a difference. It could help provide shelter for those that need it, put food on plates, fill the shelves of baby banks, offer someone to talk to, or somewhere to be safe. It will go towards organisations supporting those facing poverty and injustice here in the UK and around the world.
