Story
Join Ray and Raymond Moser, a father and son duo, as they take on the ultimate automotive endurance challenge—One Lap of America! One Lap of America is an eight-day, 3,500 mile journey combining on-road driving with competitive events like autocross, drag racing, and time attack style racing. One Lap’s 80 competitors race to raise funds for various causes. Behind the roar of their Nissan 350z lies a powerful purpose: raising awareness and funds for the Hydrocephalus Association. With every mile and racetrack conquered, a spotlight will shine on a condition often overlooked, hydrocephalus. This journey isn't just about speed—it's about heart, resilience, and supporting a family member and many others who live with hydrocephalus. In addition to raising funds for research, Team Moser hopes to inspire others to support and spread awareness for this condition.
Hydrocephalus is a life altering, life threatening condition that is caused by an abnormal accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid, resulting in pressure on the brain. The most common treatment for this condition is brain surgery to implant a medical device called a shunt, which has a 50% failure rate in children within the first two years. A shunt is not a cure as many patients endure multiple brain surgeries throughout their lifetime, some more than 100. Please support Team Moser as they Race for a Cure for Hydrocephalus!
