This Ramadan our community has been blessed by Huffaz who have travelled to rural Pembrokeshire to lead the Taraweeh prayers at Haverfordwest Central Mosque. They have left their families, work and daily responsibilities to serve our community, and have also delivered Jummah khutbahs throughout the month.

We are raising funds to offer them a hadiya (gift) in appreciation of their time, dedication and service.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Whoever guides to good will have a reward similar to the one who does it.” (Muslim)

Every night of Taraweeh, every verse of Qur’an recited, and every person standing in prayer carries immense reward. By supporting those who lead these prayers, you share in that reward.

Please give whatever you can so that we, as a community, can thank them properly for their service during this blessed month.

The Prophet ﷺ said: “The most beloved people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to others.”
