Pardeep's fundraiser for Tameside & Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust.

Pardeep Arora is raising money for Tameside & Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust.

Mount Kilimanjaro · 21 August 2025

As the official charity of Tameside & Glossop IC NHSFT, we support our staff, patients and their families who are receiving care from Tameside Hospital and in our community settings. Our hospital and community services provide care everyday and are there for us all from day one of our lives.

Story

We are climbing Mount Kilimanjaro – the highest mountain in Africa – this August (21st–30th) to raise funds to enhance our Breast Unit and provide better support for patients undergoing breast surgery.

As a team of NHS staff, we see first-hand how important it is to have the right resources available to deliver the best care. The funds raised will help us invest in equipment and support services that can improve surgical outcomes and the overall experience for our patients.

This challenge will be both physically and mentally demanding, but knowing the difference it could make to so many lives is what will keep us going.

Any support you can give – whether through a donation or simply sharing this page – would mean so much. Thank you for helping us make a difference.

Update from Mr Arora –

Mr Arora and the team continue to make impressive strides on their Mount Kilimanjaro adventure. On day two, they reached Shira Camp 1 at 3,510m, a key stop to recharge before continuing the climb.

By day five, the team had tackled the challenging Barranco Wall, pushing closer to their summit goal. Spirits remain high as they continue their journey.

The team are hoping to peak by 6am on Friday morning!
