Christmas Carols on Ingleborough

The now traditional “outdoorsy people do Christmas Carols experience" will take place on 20 December 2025 and will climb Ingleborough, one of the Yorkshire Three Peaks.

This year we are associated with the BMC Classic Hikes and as always we will be raising funds for the charity Climbers Against Cancer.

The mountains will be provide both solace and courage for us all as we remember or walk with friends who have suffered from the horrible illness, which is Cancer.

I cannot wait... let's hope the weather is good and lots of people join, sing, rejoice and, if they can, donate or fundraise.

A massive THANK YOU to Castleberg Outdoors and Beta Running who together have helped to raise £3000 during 2025.

It's the season to be grateful... fa la la la la la la la la!

A new year from Christmas Carols on Helvellyn raising money with hope... the hope that a cure will be found to fight cancer and prevent those we love suffering or losing their lives.

Cancer research is important and we know that without our efforts and donations a cure will take longer to be found.

However, the joy of being a community which enjoys the great outdoors and the international language of music, especially on the mountain tops, is another fantastic outcome, non-monetary, of all mountain running musical events @mountainaccordionman @outdoorspirit1 want to bring about!

Joy to the world... in a time when many feel helpless.
