National 3 Peaks in 24 hr challenge, 22 April 2023
We care for children with a life shortening condition and their families, providing services such as hospice at home, crisis care, bereavement support and end of life care.

Story

We as a gym community, want to bring people together to help others where we can. With some of our fellow gym goers closely connected with Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice the opportunity to be able to raise much needed funds for those in need is one we will cherish.

We hope to raise as much money as we can, but if we can beat our previous charity challenge total (£2387) that would be a fantastic achievement. In true fitness fanatic style we plan to set the bar high and push our bodies to the limits with a prolific challenge which involves walking up the 3 highest peaks in the United Kingdom. Ben Nevis in Scotland, followed by Scafell Pike in the Lake District and Snowdon in Wales to finish. The challenge requires us to get up and down all 3 peaks, including the drive within a 24hr time limit. Working with minimum sleep and a pitch black ascent/descent of Scafell Pike will be all part of the fun, but with the motivation to help a great cause will no doubt spur the team of 16 along!

Any support/donations are greatly appreciated. It’s not gonna be easy but if it can put a smile on one child’s face for a day, or help a family in anyway then it will all be worth it!

Wish Us Luck,

The Mov3ment Team
