We are there when it matters to support people through dying or grief.

Story

Jeremy Belk (Dad) was cared for wonderfully through the last few months of his life by the Sue Ryder team of Manorlands hospice in Yorkshire.

The Sue Ryder charity strives to ensure that no one has to face dying or grief alone. They are there when it matters.

They were there for us and now we want to ensure that they can be there for other families. To do that we need your help!

We (Jeremy's daughters, Wendy, Liz and Rachel), are organising a series of 'Move it for Manorlands' challenges in 2024 and invite our family and friends to support us - join one of our challenges, organise your own, or donate to this link to keep us going!

First challenge will be on 20th Jan when Rowan (Jeremy's grandson) and Wendy will run the Edinburgh 5km Winter run. From there the challenges will increase as the year progresses....culminating in the Ackworth Half Marathon (which Jeremy helped to found) and (fingers crossed) a full Marathon before the year is out.

Dad introduced us all to running, outdoor adventure and personal development. He strongly believed that challenges were character building! This one's for you, Dad!

Contact Wendy (wmjohnstone@hotmail.co.uk) to find out how you can support us further!

Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can get the support they need.
