Story
Last year, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma (a type of blood cancer). My Mum had a rarer type of Lymphoma in 2019, received the all clear at the end of the year and was there with me through every step of my journey.
I will be roller skating 300 miles in August, with the last mile being completed at the Move For Cancer event.
We are holding this event to help support others who have also been affected by cancer.
If you are sponsoring a specific individual that is participating in the event, please feel free to mention them by name in the comments section when donating.
Teenage Cancer Trust help to support 13-24 year olds throughout their journey with cancer. They fund specialised nurses, youth workers and hospital units in the NHS. They run events for young people, giving them a chance to meet other young people who have gone through similar experiences as well as making memories to last a lifetime. They also offer support for families of these young people.
More details about the event can be found on the website linked below.
