Hi my name is Moyege Oke, and I am excited to share my journey with you! This August, I will be traveling to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, alongside a dedicated group of volunteers from Bayes Business School. Our mission is to support Holistic Opportunity for Humanity (HOH), a remarkable community-based organization that provides care for children who have lost their parents due to the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

I am truly passionate about dedicating my time and skills to nurture these incredible children. However, we need your help! This year, the orphanage has specifically requested funds to provide pajamas and bed sheets for the children. Your generous donations will go 100% towards HOH and will make a significant impact on their lives.

Holistic Opportunity for Humanity cares for over 250 children, ranging from preschoolers to university students. They operate under a community-based housing model that groups around six children together, ensuring shelter and protection for the most vulnerable among us. HOH provides essential services such as food, clothing, medical treatment, education, and counseling. Their support extends beyond just orphaned children; they also assist alumni pursuing higher education and offer aid to the elderly, widows, and mothers in the community.

Helping Hanna’s Community is a small UK charity dedicated to supporting vulnerable children in Ethiopia by maintaining and expanding Holistic Opportunity for Humanity. Since 2009, Bayes Business School has funded student volunteers to visit Ethiopia with this charity and work closely with the children of HOH. This year, I am honored to be one of those volunteers.

We are aiming to raise £2,000 GBP for this vital cause. Every contribution counts! Together we can provide these deserving children with comfort and care they need.
