Story
During our Mum's final illness Marie Curie provided both nursing care for Mum and support for my sister and me. Without them we would have struggled to fulfil Mum's wish to remain in her own home. Aberdeen Kiltwalk is 18 miles but a few blisters and a bit of discomfort is a small price in return for the gift Marie Curie gave us. We want to give a little back so that Marie Curie can continue to support other families in need. So if you can spare even a few pennies to help us we would really appreciate it or if you just want to cheers us on our way look out for "Sheila's Girls" along the Kiltwalk route on 7th June.
Marie Curie is here for anyone with an illness they’re likely to die from, and those close to them. Whatever the illness, wherever you are, we’re with you to the end. We bring 75 years of experience and leading research to the care we give you at home, in our hospices and over the phone. And we push for a better end of life for all by campaigning and sharing research to change the system.
Marie Curie is a charity working across the UK and we need your support to do our vital work.
