Story

Help Us Say Thank You to Yorkshire Ambulance Service Charity

After nearly 13 years together, we are finally tying the knot! We are so lucky to have everything we need, so instead of gifts, we would love for our wedding to be an opportunity to give back to a cause that means a lot to us.

Last year, our lives were turned upside down when Mike suffered a major heart attack and nearly died. His life was saved by the incredible team at Yorkshire Ambulance Service - who talked Jen through CPR over the phone, arrived quickly with a defibrillator, and got his heart beating again. Without them, we wouldn’t be celebrating this wedding at all.

That’s why we are asking our family and friends to donate to the YAS Charity in place of gifts.

As well as supporting local ambulance workers, This small charity helps fund life-saving training and equipment for our local community. They provide free CPR training and public defibrillators, ensuring that more people can step in and save lives - just like they did for Mike.

Your Donation Will Go Even Further!

Thanks to the generosity of Jen’s employer, the Matthew Good Foundation, every pound you donate will be tripled, as they have pledged to double-match all donations. That means:

💙 £10 becomes £30

💙 £25 becomes £75

💙 £50 becomes £150

This is our way of saying thank you to YAS for saving Mike’s life - and we would love for you to be part of it. Please donate if you can.

With love,

Mike & Jen
