In 2026 MrMurals will be creating a unique hand-painted mural for our Dementia ward corridor here at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Birmingham)

Although the space is already full of rich natural light, the walls currently lack colour, life and identity.

The plan is to hand-paint a custom 1/1 artwork directly onto the stretch of corridor space to complete a welcoming, engaging and enjoyable Mural that all of our patients, staff and guests can enjoy here when they visit.

Many of our patients use the corridor space to take a walk with staff members while being on the ward. We want to make the walk a much more enjoyable journey, a space of colour / design and artwork that can help them escape the bland white walls.

The artwork costs cover MrMurals Design, Artwork Install, materials and vat.

Any additional funds that exceed the amount needed would go directly to the hospital.
