Story
When I grew my forever beard in 2006 I swore that every ten years I would allow myself and the world a peek underneath each decade. Well it has been ten years since peek number one and we are ready to see who is under a much greyer beard.
Since this can raise money I put together this page again for an extra bonus to the universe.
So why malaria?
As a teacher and a parent I care about children's lives.
Malaria is the killer of children that is prevented for the least money. Cash donated to stop malaria saves more child lives per £1 donated than any other charity.
Malaria Consortium’s work will continue until no child dies from malaria, ensuring every child has access to affordable, quality healthcare.
For over 20 years, Malaria Consortium has used an evidence-led approach, collaborating with local partners to implement cost-effective, community-driven solutions that strengthen health systems. By training locals to diagnose and treat diseases and extending services to remote areas, they help reduce preventable illness and death, especially among children under five.
