We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. We provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. Through our signposting support, we work to resolve the issues that cause food poverty.

Story

My school house charity is the Tetbury (Cirencester) foodbank. In school, we are collecting donations and raising money to support the foodbank. I have chosen to run the Bristol half marathon to help raise money for this excellent cause.

Cirencester foodbank says:

We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We work with local support agencies to ensure food parcels reach those most in need. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

Please do consider sponsoring me as I run my half marathon and donating to this worthwhile cause.
