We are fundraising to support one of our incredible Year 6 students who was diagnosed with Diabetes in Year 2. He is an incredible role model and is passionate about raising awareness of Diabetes, and we are so proud of the progress he has made with his own diabetes journey.

Here is a little bit from our superstar :

"I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in year 2, which I found really challenging. I didn't want anyone to know or see me having any treatment. Since then, I have learnt a lot and learned to love myself and my differences and want to spread awareness so that I can help others. Type 1 diabetes is very different from Type 2 (which is directly linked to having too much sugar). I will be leading worship on Monday 2nd of February (the day after my diaversary) and we are inviting all pupils so wear an item of light blue clothing along with their uniform. We will also be setting up a fundraiser for Diabetes UK, to help them further their research. We would love to see you take part. Thank you! "
