I’m doing my third half marathon in my home city of Oxford to raise money for Cherwell Cats Protection. Right now rescues are overwhelmed with unwanted pets because people cannot afford to neuter their cats. Animals are being abandoned in unprecedented numbers due to a shortage of rescue space. I strongly believe animals should not suffer because humans are too lazy to take responsibility for them. I’ve fostered almost 60 cats in 6 years.

Cats Protection help more cats than any other organisation and we want to help millions more. We are a dedicated community of passionate employees, volunteers, supporters and partners, working together to make life better for millions of cats and the people who care for them.
