For the last few years, we’ve been lucky enough to spend time with the young people at Manav Sadhna in Ahmedabad, India, and it’s completely changed the way we see the power of sport.

Manav Sadhna is an incredible charity based near Gandhi Ashram that works with children and young people from some of Ahmedabad’s most underserved communities. Through education, health, wellbeing, life skills and sport, it supports around 1,800 children across multiple centres in the city, helping them build brighter futures.

One of those initiatives is its sports programme, and from that has grown Manav Sadhna Football Club, the focus of our film and a project that has become incredibly close to our hearts.

We’ve seen first-hand that football is about so much more than the game itself. It builds confidence, resilience, teamwork, discipline and hope. It gives young people a safe place to belong, to dream bigger and to realise what’s possible.

This fundraiser helps provide the essentials that keep the football programme running - coaching, transport, pitch hire, equipment and nutrition. These are things many of us take for granted, but they make an enormous difference to these young people’s lives.
