For many kids in our community, school meals are the only reliable meals they get — and weekends and holidays can mean going hungry. Mississippi Food Network's BackPack Program sends kids home on Fridays with a bag of easy, kid-friendly food to get them through until Monday.

$160 sponsors one child for the entire 32-week school year. Our goal is to sponsor 100 children — that's $16,000 to make sure 100 kids never have to face a hungry weekend. Every dollar goes directly to Mississippi Food Network to fund this program. Thank you for helping close the gap.
