Hello friends and family,

I am reaching out with a cause very close to my heart. I am embarking on a challenging journey to give back to an organization that has profoundly impacted my life and that of my family—CLEAR Cornwall.

CLEAR Cornwall is a beacon of hope in our community, dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing environment for individuals and families affected by abuse. As the only all-age service in Cornwall, they offer invaluable support to survivors of sexual abuse and rape, as well as their families and partners. Their vision is a community where everyone is safe from abuse and free to flourish after trauma. They are also a proud member of the Survivors Trust, underscoring their commitment and credibility in supporting those in need.

The support my wife and I received from CLEAR Cornwall during one of our darkest times was nothing short of lifesaving. Without their compassionate intervention and ongoing support, things might have turned out very differently for us. This is why I am immensely grateful to them and why their mission resonates so deeply with me.

To give back to CLEAR Cornwall and help them continue their crucial work, I will be participating in a rigorous 100-mile mountain biking event. I will be joinged by friend and colleague Ian Curonow, this journey will take me around rugged Cornwall, traversing coastline, hills, dirt tracks, and woods—all on a full suspension mountain bike. It’s going to be a challenging yet exhilarating ride, and I know given the tough journey those affected by abuse endure, and the resilience required to overcome such challenges, that that will be our drive to complete this challenge.
