Bake Off · 13 December 2023

Children’s Health Foundation raises vital funds to support sick children and their families in CHI hospitals and urgent care centres – from funding vital life-saving equipment and providing essential patient and parental supports to making ground-breaking, paediatric research possible.

Story

The School is delighted to announce that the Maynooth University's School of Law and Criminology annual Christmas Bake Off Competition is back!

Incredibly, over €1,000 was raised annually for the past few years for Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) Hospital Crumlin. This year the School's staff and PhD students are back to the kitchen in attempts to impress the School's very own Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry!

Staff and PhD students will be baking and bringing goods decked out in their Christmas jumpers, with the baked goods being judged and a Star Baker being announced by the judges on the day. The bake off will take place on Wednesday 13th December at 12pm in New House.

We appreciate all donations, however big or small, for this event and for such a worthy cause. We ask those attending on the day and/or donating to tag Maynooth School of Law and Criminology on social media with #MaynoothSL&C4Crumlin

The event will again be fundraising for Children’s Health Foundation (CHF) Crumlin who do #WhateverItTakes to give every sick child a fighting chance and provides excellent healthcare to children from all over Ireland every day. The impact of donations transform children lives for the better and supports their families across every day. CHF provides urgent funding where it is needed most across CHI at Crumlin and National Children’s Research Centre– from funding essential equipment and patient and parental supports to making new services and ground-breaking paediatric research possible.
