We want to mark and celebrate Ramadan to show our Muslim friends and colleagues we recognise this important month, and raising funds in the process is simply a bonus. We will also be hosting a celebration after Ramadan - a feast to celebrate Eid and all staff and students will be welcome to join!

We have chosen North Bristol and South Gloucestershire Food Bank. They provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to them in crisis. They are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.
