We’re three colleagues — Jen, Molly and Nic — from Vets4Pets Castleford, coming together to raise money for an incredibly important cause: Cardiac Risk in the Young.
Our goal is to raise £750 (and hopefully much more!) to support the life-saving work this charity does to raise awareness of undiagnosed heart conditions in young people and to help prevent sudden cardiac deaths through screening, research and education.
We were inspired to support this cause after hearing the heartbreaking story of a work representative who tragically lost their young son to an undiagnosed cardiac condition. Although this page is not in memory of any one individual, their story deeply moved us and reminded us how vital awareness, early detection and support truly are.
