Story
The girls of Mulliner (SG's U6 Boarding House) are taking on an incredible challenge, a 24-hour Run-a-Thon, to raise money for Safe and Sound Dorset, a local charity supporting some of the most vulnerable women in our community.
Safe & Sound Dorset works with women in Dorset who are facing multiple and complex challenges, including homelessness, drug and alcohol misuse, family breakdown, mental health difficulties, and long-term illness. Many of the women they support are isolated, marginalised, and at significant risk.
The charity provides a safe and welcoming space staffed entirely by female staff and volunteers, where women can access free hot meals and refreshments, confidential emotional and practical support, shower and laundry facilities, creative lifestyle sessions twice a week, advice and guidance on housing, education, employment, and mentoring.
By running continuously for 24 hours, Mulliner hopes to raise vital funds to help Safe & Sound Dorset continue and grow this life-changing work.
Every donation, big or small, will make a real difference. Please support us as we run to stand alongside women who need safety, support, and hope.
Thank you for your generosity!
