MultiCare's mission, partnering for healing and a healthy future, has gone global

The Global Outreach Program has three goals:

1. To support wellbeing through service - serve those who serve (You)

2. To connect communities to healthcare – expanding access to compassionate care

3. To partner for healing and a healthy future – in a region with significant healthcare access limitations

The MultiCare Global Outreach Program operates by the generosity of our donors. This year, your support enables:

🏥 A MultiCare IT and Medical Rural Family Medicine event in the poorest regions of Trujillo, Peru serving approximately 500 patients in just 1 week.

$6,000 will fund the purchase of two butterfly ultrasound devices, enhancing the ability of MultiCare family medicine physicians and APPs to deliver accurate and effective treatments during the event

$5,500 will provide lifesaving medications for 500 patients treated during the event

$3,500 will equip the global outreach team with reusable triage medical equipment

$5,500 will purchase reusable tote bags for each patient to bring their medications and documentation home with them after receiving care

$1000 will cover the pay for a two Peruvian medical physicians to partner with MultiCare in seeing patients during the event

$500 will purchase medical equipment to screen 100 patient inmates housed with their children during the event

📶 A computer lab to be built for a resource scarce Peruvian school where MultiCare donated 4 laptops, when they previously only had 1. A computer lab will allow for each student to learn computer literacy.

$2,500 will cover the cost of import fees associated with shipping computer donations to the school

📚 An ongoing monthly virtual medical lecture series for MultiCare physicians and APPs to share their knowledge with Peruvian medical school students.

$50 will fund a Peruvian medical translator for a one-hour live virtual medical lecture, empowering over 100 Peruvian residents and students with essential clinical education
