MultiCare's mission, partnering for healing and a healthy future, has gone global
The Global Outreach Program has three goals:
1. To support wellbeing through service - serve those who serve (You)
2. To connect communities to healthcare – expanding access to compassionate care
3. To partner for healing and a healthy future – in a region with significant healthcare access limitations
The MultiCare Global Outreach Program operates by the generosity of our donors. This year, your support enables:
Anything we raise beyond our 2026 $40,000 goal is used for future trips. In 2027, we are returning to Peru twice (in the Spring & Fall) to serve alongside La Clinica Madre de Cristo. Please help us exceed our goal this year!
🏥 A MultiCare IT and Medical Rural Family Medicine event in the poorest regions of Trujillo, Peru serving approximately 500 patients in just 1 week.
$10,000 will equip the global outreach team with medical equipment used for direct patient care (i.e. exam gloves, N-95 masks, point of care tests, gauze, glucometers, lancets & test strips, etc.)
$6,000 will cover the cost of technology that will be used every year to optimize our impact and number of patients seen. This includes resuable shipment containers for medical and technology donations, portable laptop external batteries, and a portable printer.
$5,500 will provide lifesaving medications for 500 patients treated during the event
$4,000 will cover the cost of air cargo shipment of donations and supplies (i.e. technology donations, point of care tests, gauze, etc.)
$5,500 will purchase reusable tote bags for each patient to bring their medications and documentation home with them after receiving care
$2,500 will cover the cost of the entire volunteer team's lunches during the clinic week & a farewell dinner with the Peruvian team
$1,500 will be awarded to one of the MultiCare volunteers traveling to Peru, given on an a need basis as a scholarship
$1,500 will cover the cost to transport our entire volunteer team to and from each remote volunteer clinic site over the course of the week.
$1000 will cover the pay for a two Peruvian medical physicians to partner with MultiCare in seeing patients during the event
$500 will purchase medical equipment purchased in-country to screen 100 patient inmates housed with their children during the event
$200 will cover the pay for a single Peruvian medical translator to partner with MultiCare to ensure our volunteers can deliver quality care during the event
📶 A computer lab to be built for a resource scarce Peruvian school where MultiCare donated 4 laptops, when they previously only had 1. A computer lab will allow for each student to learn computer literacy.
$2000 will be used as reserves for any in-country purchases of technology that may be needed during the event.
