Story
MultiCare's mission, partnering for healing and a healthy future, has gone global
The Global Outreach Program has three goals:
1. To support wellbeing through service - serve those who serve (You)
2. To connect communities to healthcare – expanding access to compassionate care
3. To partner for healing and a healthy future – in a region with significant healthcare access limitations
🤝 MultiCare Volunteers fully pay their way to serve by covering their own airfare, accommodations, meals and utilize their PTO.
🇵🇪 The MultiCare Global Outreach Program operates by the generosity of our donors. Every dollar goes directly to the communities served in Peru and basic operational necessities of the program from paying for patient medications for the week costing $5,500 to shipment of technology and medical equipment to Peru costing $5,000 to the team bus costing $1,500 and everything in between.
Please help us reach and exceed our $40,000 goal for 2026!
Anything we raise beyond our 2026 $40,000 goal is used for future trips. In 2027, we are returning to Peru twice (in the Spring & Fall; a goal of $80,000) to serve alongside La Clinica Madre de Cristo.
Your donations cover the cost of
🏥 A MultiCare IT and Medical Rural Family Medicine event in the poorest regions of Trujillo, Peru serving approximately 500 patients in just 1 week.
📶 A computer lab to be built for a resource scarce Peruvian school where MultiCare donated 4 laptops, when they previously only had 1. A computer lab will allow for each student to learn computer literacy.
By supporting this program, you create a ripple effect of healing and growth that extends far beyond the borders of Peru, into the lives of our community here at home. With your help, we can continue offering these transformative experiences, impacting not only the lives of countless individuals in Peru but also empowering MultiCare physicians, APPs, nurses and other employees to be their best self, personally and professionally.
Make a donation today and join our dedicated supporters in bringing hope to our most vulnerable patients and their families.
