Story

We enjoy riding our mountain bikes, but have decided to swap to a road bike for our biggest challenge yet, to ride from Lands End the very tip of Cornwall to John O Groats the very top of Scotland. This is going to be extremely tough as the most we are used to riding is 20 miles and now we are attempting 60-75 miles a day for 15 consecutive days.

Midlands Air Ambulance charity covers 6 counties across the Midlands, bringing pre-hospital critical care and life saving intervention to the incident. They deliver this care via a fleet of 3 helicopters and 3 critical care cars, which between them respond to an average of 12 missions a day. Each air mission cost £2950 and each critical care car mission costs £288.

They receive no NHS or government funding for their service and rely on charitable giving to raise the 11 million it costs to run the service each year.

Please help us to raise as much money as we can for such a worthy cause as we know since the pandemic charites have been hit the hardest.

We are therefore asking you to contribute to our online bucket collection to help raise the money vitally needed to enable them to rapidly reach and treat up to ten people in critical need of their services every day. Can you help make our next Mission Possible?

Don't forget to tell friends and family you have made a donation, and shout about it on social media if you are online.

Please donate what you can.
