In November i'll be running the Athens Marathon with other students from Glasgow University to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust.

Every day seven young people between the age of 13-24 will be told they have cancer. They will each need specialised nursing care and support to see them through it. Teenage Cancer Trust are the only UK charity dedicated to meeting the vital needs of these young people to make sure they dont face cancer alone.

Cancer is unfortunately likely to affect everyone in one way or another making this a perfect oppurtinity to raise money for a cause that will benefit a huge amount of people.

The students i will be running with are in the fortunate position that we are able to take on a challenge such as running a marathon, but this isnt the case for thousands of young people across the UK who have had cancer place a roadblock in their journeys.
