Hi! My name’s Maya and in August 2024, I was diagnosed with Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis.

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic condition where the immune system attacks the protective layer around the nerves, affecting the brain and spinal cord. This can cause symptoms like fatigue, vision issues, numbness and muscle weakness, along with many others.

This August, I will be hosting & producing a Musical Theatre Cabaret raising funds for MS Together , a charity that provides services and support to 18-35 year olds who have been affected by MS. Since being diagnosed, MS Together has helped me find a community and support network of others diagnosed with MS, so I’m excited to be able to raise money for them in return 🧡
