Story
In the holy month of Ramadan 2024, African Relief Fund remains committed to its mission across Somalia, Djibouti, Ethiopia and Kenya, ensuring that your generous contributions reach those facing catastrophic circumstances. ARF's dedicated team is providing essential aid such as food, water, and emergency relief to those in urgent need.
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: “Whoever performs a fardh (obligation) (in Ramadan), shall be given the reward of seventy faraaidh (obligations) in any other time …” (Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah, 1887).
In the Horn of Africa, millions grapple with the challenge of securing access to safe water. The relentless impact of climate change has led to consecutive failures of rainy seasons, resulting in persistent and severe droughts in countries such as Somalia and Djibouti. These droughts have claimed the lives of thousands of animals, pushing communities to the brink of survival. For two decades, the African Relief Fund's Water Programme has been collaborating with affected communities, using various methods to provide essential clean water.
In the face of an ongoing drought that has affected countries like Somalia, Djibouti and Ethiopia, the need for urgent intervention has never been more critical.
Act now and do not delay! Your support is vital during these challenging times.
Please contribute generously in this blessed month of Ramadan to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
