Story
This is a personal one for me and my own journey with stage 4 cancer.
Diagnosed in 2024 The Royal marsden was where I received 6 weeks of daily Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy.
The level of care was second to none and I would like to thank all the members of staff that helped me and brightened some very bad days with a smile and kindness.
A long road to some sort of "new normal "(and not without scars) however here I am and in Remission.
The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money to improve the lives of people affected by cancer. With world-leading nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world.
From funding state-of-the-art equipment and groundbreaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, they will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
Sadly my brother and mentor Leroy wasn't as lucky as I was and he lost his battle with stage 4 cancer in June 2024
