Story

In August 2025, my Daddy was diagnosed with a brain tumour at the age of 39. It was discovered because he had lost nearly all of his sight in one eye. Thanks to the incredible team at the Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield, he had it removed just before Christmas. It has been a scary time for me, my Mummy and Daddy and my little sister Freya but I want to do something positive and raise lots of money for the charity that has provided us with support through this time.

I love running and have been doing junior park run since I was 4 years old. My favourite park run locations are Barnsley, Olympic Legacy and Hillsborough. I am a triathlete and compete with Wakefield Junior Triathlon club. My dream one day is to become an Olympic triathlete. I love taking part in lots of different sports and I also love singing with Barnsley Youth Choir.

I have just turned 9 so I have decided that I am going to run the equivalent of 9 marathons. My mummy is running the London Marathon for the first time this April (raising money for Children with Cancer) so my challenge is to do my 9 marathons before the London Marathon. I want to raise lots of money for the Brain Tumour Charity as well as raise awareness about the signs and symptoms of brain tumours.
