Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to raise funds for Equilibria, combating Islamophobia and promoting unity.

Story

Aoa to whoever comes across this,

I'm taking on the Yorkshire 3 peak ⛰️ challenge, a hike in one day taking place this Sunday, to support Equilibria. A charity based organisation in the UK that tackles issues towards Islamophobia. 🫶🏽

Your donations would mean a lot and give me the motivation to get round this first time challenge I will be doing! I have 4 days to reach my target of £150 to raise let’s all do this together 🙌🏽

It’s heartbreaking to see the rise in Islamophobia across the UK, from the recent events of racist riot groups attacking all over the country.😔 to Muslim women being attacked in the streets. But here's the good news: there’s something we can do about it! I’m taking on the 3 Peaks Challenge to support Equilibria, an amazing charity established in dedication to combating these issues by promoting peace, tolerance, and understanding through educational workshops 📚

Who are they?

Equilibria is a UK-registered charity working to break down barriers and stereotypes of Islamophobia by sharing the true message of Islam as a faith of peace. They offer school assemblies, mosque visits, teacher training, and volunteer programs to build bridges and spread knowledge. 🌍📚

Why do they need us?

As a volunteer-led organization, they rely on our donations to keep going. Every contribution counts! Whether big or small, your support will make a difference in their vital work. 🙏🏽✨

I’m asking for your help—please consider sponsoring me for my first ever charity hike 🙌🏽 as I tackle this challenge for such an important cause close to home for most of us, Let’s make a lasting impact together. 🌙

Thank you & much appreciated !
