At the heart of the local community, Marlborough Youth FC (MYFC) is passionate about our ethos ‘Football For All’ offering wide ranging football opportunities for all ages and abilities, most recently launching a Disability Football programme for local children.

With the new 2025-26 season underway, it promises to be another exciting year for MYFC. The new all weather 3G football facility at St John's is nearing completion. This promises to make a huge difference, bringing so many benefits to not only our Club, but also to the wider community. The 3G facility will provide durable, safe, year round pitches capable of withstanding frequent use, minimising disappointment from cancellations due to poor weather and/or pitch conditions.

This has been a significant project which MYFC has been striving towards for many years, securing funding from the Football Foundation through the Lionesses Future Fund. The overall project cost will be in excess of £1 million. As the partner club MYFC has been asked to contribute towards the cost of building this brand-new facility. Without the support, determination and fundraising from MYFC, this new football facility would remain only a dream. Through the continued efforts of MYFC and St John's, the school along with the wider sporting community will also benefit.

With the end now in sight, MYFC are fundraising to help cover the Club's mandatory contribution. This will allow us to continue to offer our inclusive and wide ranging opportunities for local children to play football as we seek to ensure that football remains accessible to all. Our fundraising target is £10,000 – but the benefits the all weather 3G football facility will bring are priceless!

Although we are underway with our fundraising, we still have a long way to go! All donations of any size are very gratefully received and contribute to helping us successfully hit our target! With your support, we hope to be using this fantastic new facility in the near future.
