In response to the devastating humanitarian crisis in Gaza we have launched this Online Emergency Appeal to raise funds for the people of Gaza and provide basic humanitarian needs including food, medicines, and emergency medical equipment.

We have already been doing weekly collections outside MY Travel on Stratford Road since 14 October 2023 and Alhamdulillah as of 5 November 2023 £46867.13 has been raised for the people of Gaza in cash & card donations. May Allah SWT grant all the donators more barakah in their time, health, and income. Ameen!

We will continue raising funds in cash & card donations for as long as possible, but we feel we can do much more by reaching out to the wider community across the UK.

Over 10,000 people have been killed and more than 25,000 injured since 7th October 2023 including more than 4,000 children. Gaza is becoming a graveyard for children. Hundreds of children and babies are reportedly being killed or injured every day.

Whole neighbourhoods have been demolished, 43% of all housing units in the Gaza Strip have been either destroyed or damaged.

It’s raining with bombs on houses, schools, hospitals, mosques, and churches. Nowhere is safe in Gaza.

Over 1 million people have been displaced after being told to leave their homes with nowhere to go.

Fuel, food, and water are running out.

UCF are distributing food to displaced families in Refugee Centres, Schools, and Hospitals.

UCF are also purchasing medicines and emergency medical equipment in Egypt, which has been requested from the Hospitals inside Gaza and liaising with the Egyptian Red Crescent to get the supplies into Gaza each time the border opens at the Rafah Crossing.
