I have decided to organise and take part in a charity walk for my Uncle Norman, raising money for Caring Breaks along the way who played such an important part in his life😚

I love a walk and so I’ve decided to plot a route from what was Norman’s home from 1978 until 2025, into Belfast and out along the coastline all the way to Bangor where Norman spent some respite days and weeks in Croft. He loved the sun on his face, sea views and an ice cream in hand ❤️

The route is roughly 30km and takes us into the beautiful city of Belfast, the coastline up to Helen’s Bay and then down into Bangor, taking in the view of Belfast lough and the opening into the Irish Sea.

I will be putting up maps, timings along the route and getting as many people involved as possible💪🏻

I’d love anyone to join me along the route, share some stories about Norman, have a wee cry at times and most importantly get an ice cream along the way, something our Norman loved 🍦

Caring Breaks gave us as a family so much help, support and showed unravelled genuine care towards Norman and will never be forgotten❤️

He loved his evenings out, day trips away and weekend jaunts doing anything and everything spending time with his friends🏝️

I personally cannot thank everyone enough at Caring Breaks and beyond for all they did for Norman🥹
