This route will include Lulworth Cove to Durdle Door and Ringstead Bay.

Access to clean water is a right and a cross-cutting theme of all our work. We install purification systems, improve water infrastructure, and train school communities in water conservation as a common good and shared resource.

Earthquake Response

On June 24, 2026, a double earthquake shook northwest Venezuela, with official figures reporting 6,125 deaths, 16,740 injured, and 17,907 homeless. Thousands of children are now living in shelters, without school, routine, or access to basic services.

Fundación Chamos immediately launched an emergency response—providing drinking water, medical equipment, food, infant formula, and support for rescue teams—and now we are moving towards Construyo con Chamos, our medium and long-term reconstruction program to assist families displaced by the earthquake in Venezuela.

What does Construyo con Chamos include?

🧩 Construyo Jugando (Building by Playing): recreation and psychosocial support for displaced children, in partnership with ASOVENCAMP. Currently, we serve 300 children in 5 shelters, with the goal of reaching 600 children in 10 shelters by September 18.

$26 per child per week / $1500 per week per shelter

🩼 Construyo Rehabilitando (Building by Rehabilitating): physical therapy, wheelchairs, and psychological support for children and young people with amputations or crush injuries, in collaboration with FundaProcura.

$1350 approximate cost per child

💧 Construyo Gota a Gota (Building Drop by Drop): access to clean water through LifeStraw community and family filters, water tanks, and hygiene kits, in shelters and community centers.

$400 high-capacity water filter

🍼 Construyo Nutriendo (Building by Nourishing): nutritional recovery for infants, children, and breastfeeding mothers suffering from or at risk of malnutrition, with weekly medical consultations.

$23 weekly treatment for malnourished infant

🩺 Construyo Sanando (Building by Healing): medical and dental care for displaced families in Camuri Grande and Chuspa, in collaboration with Somos Comunidad and Proyecto Mayu.

These programs operate in shelters and communities using a scalable model, as part of our medium and long-term response to the emergency.

About Chamos

Chamos UK and Chamos Spain are two legally registered entities that independently fulfill the foundational obligations of their respective countries. Chamos was registered in 2007 in the United Kingdom and, in order to expand its foundational purposes, was established in Spain as a delegation of a foreign foundation in 2020 under the name Delegación de la Fundación Chamos.
