158 Miles for Bowel Cancer – Hull to the Lake District

We’re a group of six people Nic Bloor, Pete Bloor, Marc Hartley, Mark Hogben, Tom O’Brien and Lee Hall are taking on a huge challenge: walking 158 miles from Hull to Crosby Ravensworth in the Lake District, finishing at my cousin Jon’s pub The Butchers Arms

Over seven days, we’ll be covering mile after mile on foot, across a mix of roads, countryside, and challenging terrain. It’s going to be physically and mentally demanding, but it’s something we’re determined to do.

We’re doing this to raise money and awareness for bowel cancer, a cause that is incredibly close to all of our hearts. Bowel cancer affects so many people and families, often without warning, and the impact it has can be life-changing. Like many others, we’ve seen first-hand the effects it can have, which is why this challenge means so much to us.

Every step we take is for those currently fighting, those who have fought, and those we’ve lost. By supporting us, you’re helping fund vital research, improve awareness, and support people affected by bowel cancer.
