NACFB's content marketing specialist, Liz Weller, is set to take part in the Green Park Reading 10k on Sunday 31st May, to fundraise for the NACFB's 2026 charity partner, The Sam West Foundation.

Founded in 2018 by Sam's parents, Chris and Michelle, The Sam West Foundation was established in memory of their son, who tragically took his life at the age of 15 following a short period of clinical depression.

Liz will be fundraising to aid the charity with their mission of improving awareness, diagnosis and treatment of mental health issues affecting children and young adults.

Commenting on the challenge, Liz shared: "I'm excited to be taking part in the Green Park Reading 10k after an extended break from running due to having hip surgery in 2020. Not only will completing this distance be a great accomplishment for me, I'm pleased that my efforts will help The Sam West Foundation to support children and young adults."
