Story
Hello. I'm Nadia Kerr – a solicitor who specialises in helping injured cyclists, lifelong advocate for road safety, and proud Trustee of Cycling UK.
This year, I’m taking on the incredible London Edinburgh London audax bike ride – 1,530km (950 miles) of self-supported cycling from London to Edinburgh and back again – all within 128 hours! It's not a race, but it’s certainly a serious test of endurance, determination and, above all, passion for a cause that really matters to me.
I’ve dedicated my legal career to representing injured cyclists and campaigning for safer roads. While I help individuals claim for injuries, my deeper purpose is to help change the system – to make our roads safer for everyone. I believe cycling should be joyful, accessible and safe, and that’s especially true for women and girls who often face unique barriers to cycling.
That’s why I’m riding to raise funds (£1530, which is £1 for every kilometre of the ride) for Cycling UK, and more specifically their powerful Women's Safety Campaign ‘My ride. Our right’ campaign. It’s a campaign that’s close to my heart – calling for safer streets, inclusive infrastructure, and a cycling culture where women feel welcome and confident to ride. Because when we make cycling safer for women, we make it safer for everyone.
I was honoured to be named one of Cycling UK’s ‘100 Women in Cycling’ in 2021, and I became a Trustee for Cycling UK in 2023. Supporting this charity and its mission is a natural extension of my professional and personal life.
Please consider sponsoring me on this journey. Your support will help push for change – not just for me on the road to Edinburgh and back, but for thousands of women who deserve the freedom to cycle safely, confidently and happily.
