Five brave cyclists have agreed to cycle the Ride London 60 mile route to raise money for Carney's Community. Together they are attempting to raise £5,000 to support the amazing continued work of Carney's.

Story

I love Carney's and want to give back.

Carney’s Community exists to support all young people but target our resources on those who face poverty, are in the care system, impacted by gun and knife crime, families misusing substances, domestic abuse and many who have been excluded from school or involved in the criminal justice system. Carney’s works differently by providing long term consistent unconditional support, unlike much statutory provision. We provide a safe space and engage young people in positive activities including boxing, skills workshops, social activities, mentoring and one to one intensive key work.

On a personal note, I box regularly at Carney's Community Centre and am inspired by the young talent coming through this charity. Boxing is good for the mental health and is a life saver; it engenders confidence and fun in a controlled safe environment.

This is a cause worth cycling 60 miles around London for. I hope you can support me on my quest and help motivate the youth, and keep them health through exercise.
