In September 2024, I’m running The Big Half marathon in London for Against Breast Cancer.

My grandma passed away because of breast cancer when I was 16. I didn’t spend much time with her because she lived in the UK, and I lived in Indonesia. She used to come and visit me and I have vague memories of her as a child. I remembered the last video call I had with her when she had the cancer and how different she looked. How much cancer affected her. I remember it breaking my heart. In my adult life now, I sometimes wish that she lived longer, wished I have a grandma to go to, wish I can spend more time with her. I love her and I miss her. I’m doing this fundraising for breast cancer for my grandma, and I can only pray that no one gets this type of cancer - or any cancer really.
