Anyone who knows me , knows how important it is for me to help to find a cure for a disease that has taken far too many lives young and old.

Having experienced only "mild" (stage 1) thyroid cancer at the age of 18 it shook my life. Hearing the words was something I never wanted to experience, especially at such a young age.

I have also had the unfortunate experience of witnessing family lose their cancer battle , but also of others fighting to win.
