Help Naomi Get a Service Dog

Dear Family and Friends,

We are reaching out to you today to share the story of our amazing daughter, Naomi affectionately known as Nae Nae. Nae Nae is a vibrant and brave young girl who at just nine months old, was diagnosed with a rare gene mutation called DNM1. This mutation has led to significant development delays and epilepsy, causing her to experience seizures randomly and without warning.

Nae Nae faces many challenges every day even at her young age. She undergoes five different therapies a week, soon to be six, to help her development. Despite these challenges, Nae Nae remains a source of joy and love for her four siblings and everyone who knows her. Her brothers and sister adore her and often help us keep an eye on her, but they live in constant worry, anxious about the possibility of a sudden seizure and unsure of how to respond.

We had nowhere to turn but now we have hope in discovering a remarkable organization called Little Angels Service Dogs. They specialized in training service dogs to assist children like Nae Nae, alerting caregivers to impending seizures and providing constant companionship and safety. You can only imagine the relief that we felt knowing that we felt knowing that there can be some peace of mind to our entire family and Nae Nae.

However, the cost of training such a highly skilled service dog is considerable, and every dog provided by Little Angels is funded entirely by donations. Donations from people like you. This is why we are turning to our community, friends, family and generous individuals for help. We need your support to make this life changing opportunity a reality for Nae Nae and for others like her.
