Story

This year Me and Pradeep will be stepping well out of our comfort zone by jumping out of a plane for LOROS Hospice!

LOROS is a vital service which bought me and my family great comfort and support when my mum Mridula Gola (aka Madhuben) got admitted in July 2023. At the time we hadn't realised these were to be her last few weeks. Its tremendously difficult watching your loved one in pain, it is soul destroying. Hospital is not the place your loved one needs to be in at this time. People who need this level of care, attention and support should be in an amazing place like LOROS who know exactly how to provide palliative care for people at this stage in their journey and with continuous funding cuts places like LOROS struggle to meet the needs of local communities.

Me and Pradeep will be boarding a plane at Sibson Aerodrome before climbing steadily way above the clouds to an incredible 13,000ft above the planet. After clambering our way to the planes door, we will then be free falling at speeds of over 120mph before our parachute suddenly opens and we will glide back down to solid ground, enjoying wonderful views like no other.

Every single £1 that you donate will help motivate us to take that leap and fund vital compassionate care for terminally ill patients and their families across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

Please give generously to such an amazing organisation providing crital care to people in the community of which we are all part of 💛🙏
