On June 21st I am participating in the Triathlon of Compassion to raise money for the Victoria Sexual Assault Centre. Since 2008, with your help, I have raised over $46,000 to provide services for survivors (sexual assault emergency support, victim counselling, education, and support through criminal justice systems). I truly appreciate the support I have received, and I’m thankful that we are able to make a significant difference in survivor’s lives!

This year, I’m honouring the memory of 4 people: my younger sister Heather (died Feb. 1, 2025, age 60); my father Myles (died March 20, 2025, age 99); a former Human Powered teammate Justin Martin (died Mar. 16, 2020, pictured in the 2014 Tri of Compassion with David and I); and Rob Boyd, a former co-worker (died Jan. 18, 2026). They were exceptional people who lived their values and inspired me through their goodness (and supported the Tri of Compassion for many years).
