Story
My eldest daughter, Elizabeth, and I are taking part in the Walk for ME for my youngest daughter, Jessica, who has been living with this illness. I’ve been her main carer for the last six years, standing by her through the toughest times. I’m doing this not just for Jessica, but for all those who are suffering with ME and for the families who remain strong in the face of it.
I truly believe that more research into ME will bring relief to the hundreds of people enduring its symptoms, offering the hope they so desperately need. Having experienced the heartache of waiting years for a diagnosis, I understand the frustration that so many families face. My hope is that through this research, we can raise awareness and provide vital education to the many doctors who still don’t fully understand this condition.
