Story
If you asked me why I’m excited to run the London Marathon, I’d say:
It’s an iconic event and I feel lucky to be part of it, for a cause I care about.
If you asked me on a deeper level, I’d say:
My UK family, who live with Muscular Dystrophy, are one of the biggest reasons I started running consistently this year. Watching them navigate life with a muscle-wasting condition is a constant reminder of how easy it is to take movement for granted.
I’m running for them, and for the 110,000 people in the UK living with MD – to support the research, treatment and care that Muscular Dystrophy UK helps make possible.
Staying active is something I’m grateful I *get* to do. The London Marathon is a really nice bonus.
Any donation, big or small, means a lot. Thanks so much for your support.
