I am running the Manchester Half Marathon to raise money for the Manchester-based charity Independent Choices, and I’d be grateful for any support! Independent Choices supports victims and survivors of domestic abuse and sexual violence across Greater Manchester. Their work includes providing a domestic abuse helpline in multiple languages, specialist support services, training for professionals and victims, and local community engagement. They play a vital role in supporting victims and survivors across the Manchester area, working towards ending violence against women and girls, and offering inclusive services for everyone regardless of gender, sex, sexuality, race, nationality, or socio-economic background.
